All because this guy came home yesterday. So there's been a lot of this [above] going on. That plus James passed the bug onto Riley and me. Hoping all the sickness is gone by this weekend so we can get some fun squeezed in!So yeah...Fred! He's been busy reading elf-sized Christmas stories to Power Rangers from a pin-cushion chair.
And taking milk-and-cookie breaks! I guess an elf can't resist the candy-cane oreos.
After we pick James up from school (he was so excited to show Daddy around his school for the first time!), we're going to get our Christmas tree! With everything going on the first half of this month, our holiday traditions have been put on hold. Tonight we're going to be decorating (and swearing at and getting poked by) our fir tree, munching air-popped popcorn, sipping some hot cocoa, hanging Christmas lights, making paper chains and ornaments, watching "It's a Wonderful Life", wearing jingle jammies, and being a family! Well, all that and throw in some chloraseptic spray, tylenol, and vick's vapo-rub.
