We may have had the sickies today, but we were in good spirits!
After we picked up little man from preschool, we headed out to search for the perfect Christmas tree!
After much searching, we found it! Fluffy, not-too-tall, not-too-big, not-too-small, juuuuuust right!
While the nice tree-guys got it all wrapped up for us, we hung out in the shade between trees and firewood. It was 70 degrees and our long-sleeves weren't the best decision...James was begging for shade after all the tree-shopping.
Our holiday plans ended up not happening, mostly. I was feeling awful and we were all pretty pooped from our early wake-up. So the tree, while up, has absolutely no decorations on it. We did break out the brand-new jingle jammies, though! And read Christmas stories.
So here's to hoping everybody feels better tomorrow!
